Victorian Department of Infrastructure - Southern Cross Station

The Southern Cross Station redevelopment is a great example of how video can be used for full impact over the Internet. The Victorian Government wanted to announce the winner of the tender for the old Spencer St Station redevelopment project in a very visual way. On the evening TV news they would be lucky to get 30 seconds and they couldn't show what they wanted to show. Our ideas put the control back in their hands and allowed them to disseminate the information in a variety of ways.

Stew Art Media filmed the enitire event with two cameras and then produced a complete IP (Internet Protocol) Video Package, including video for email, streaming video, download video, DVD and VHS. It would also have been possible to produce files for the new generation of video mobile phones.
