Phone StreamingAs part of Telstra's 'ADSL to the streets' pilot project in Launceston Tasmania, they installed a series of Multimedia Payphones at strategic locations around the city centre. Whilst performing the functions of a normal phone, they also had a touch screen built into the phone. The phones were then hooked up to the ADSL network which allowed the users to surf the Net. We produced and encoded video content for the phones on businesses and attractions around Launceston. We scripted, storyboarded, filmed, edited, encoded and uploaded 15 different videos in 14 days! And boy were we tired at the end of it! Below are some of those videos. | |
These videos are in Windows Media Format and are suitable for both dial up connections and broadband. Cafe Elm Stillwater Restaurant Woolmers Estate |
